Creating Performance Gear with Style

The owners, both avid runners and triathletes, wanted to create a line of fitness apparel for women that would differentiate the female athlete from the crowd. Our goal was to offer another option of performance gear that offers a bit more style and color. While running in Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth Minnesota, we realized that some of our fellow runners had made their own shirts in order to stand out from the crowd, but the cotton t-shirts they made were wet and uncomfortable after several miles. After arriving back in Chicago they decided to do something about that. Thus, Swirl was born. Vivid colors, functional and stylish shaping. Definitely not your typical running gear.
